Red Tara Teachings
with Lama Shenpen Drolma
December 12th (No empowerment required)
December 13th (Red Tara empowerment required)

Tara, the female Buddha, is the embodiment of wisdom and compassion. Historically, the Bodhisattva Tara made the commitment to always reincarnate in female form to benefit beings. During this weekend, Lama Shenpen will teach and lead group meditation of the concise English Red Tara practice compiled by H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche. This is a great opportunity to receive instruction on a Vajrayana Buddhist practice that is both extremely profound and very accessible to beginning practitioners. It is not necessary to have received empowerment to attend the first day. The Red Tara empowerment is required to attend the second day of teachings.

"Just as you use a mirror to see your face, Tara meditation is a means of seeing the true face of your mind, devoid of any trace of delusion...."
---H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche
