For the power of peace to touch every person, community and nation on this earth, it must radiate out from a profound peace within our own minds and hearts.
The Change of Heart Immersion retreat is a week-long immersion in the Mahayana Buddhist tradition for awakening wisdom and compassion—the basis of enduring peace. It is the first of a series of nine Bodhicitta Immersion retreats offered at the Bodhisattva Peace Institute. Immersion in these practices will help build resilience and a greater capacity to be of benefit to beings.
This retreat elaborates on the teachings and practices introduced in the Bodhisattva Peace Training, developed by Tibetan meditation master H.E. Chagdud Tulku Rinpoche, and will include training in meditation practices as well as daily discussion and contemplative activity sessions that are designed to help integrate these teachings and experience transformation.
The focus of this retreat is an immersion into the four immeasurable qualities, the foundation of bodhicitta, or awakened mind, the heart of wisdom and compassion.
The retreat is open to anyone who has attended a Bodhisattva Peace Training. Join us in person or on zoom.
