Lha Bab Düchen

October 31st is Lha Bab Düchen, the anniversary of Buddha Shakyamuni’s descent from Indra’s heaven, where he taught for three months to benefit the gods and to repay the kindness of his mother who had taken rebirth there.

Due to the power of the Buddha’s blessing, all virtue and non-virtue are multiplied on Lha Bab Düchen. Through virtuous practice and activity on such a sacred day, we can profoundly deepen our practice and enhance our capacity to benefit others in the short and long term. In observance of this auspicious occasion, we will be hosting a merit making weekend! Join us at Iron Knot Ranch as we hang prayer flags, make Tsa Tsa’s and celabrate Lha Bab Düchen with a tsog.

Join us in person or on zoom.
