The period from Losar (February 18th) to Chötrul Düchen (March 3rd) is a vast multiplication time. Join us for a daily Tendrel Nyesel practice from Thursday, February 26th through March 3rd.
Losar, the Tibetan New Year, falls on February 18th this year, the first day of the Year of the Fire Horse. On each of the first 15 days of the new year, the Buddha displayed a different miracle. Due to the power of the Buddha’s blessings, all virtue we create on these days is multiplied 100,000 times! This extraordinary period of blessings culminates on Chötrul Düchen, which is March 3rd this year, a lunar eclipse. Chötrul Düchen is one of the four great festival days in the Buddhist calendar—anniversaries of the Buddha’s most extraordinary activities. Through virtuous practice and activity during this time, we can powerfully enhance our capacity to deepen our practice and to benefit others.
Please join us and the worldwide sangha as we pray and dedicate merit for the increase of peace, kindness, virtue, prosperity, radiant health, longevity, and auspiciousness throughout the world.
